Sydney North Endocrinology

Dr Shan Jiang is a general endocrinologist who has been in active private practice in Lindfield since 2018. She completed her dual Bachelors degree of Advanced Medical Science and Medicine at the University of Melbourne, followed by Masters of Philosophy degree at the University of Sydney. She has published articles in reputable Australian and international journals such as the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the European Medical Journal. Her research has been presented at major scientific meetings conducted by the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society, and Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society. Dr Jiang is actively involved in medical education, having been a tutor and examiner for the Sydney University Medical School, the Western Sydney University Medical School programs, in addition to a presenter for GP Masterclass CPD events.  Having worked across multiple public hospitals across Sydney, Dr Jiang is familiar with navigating the health system to access endocrine dynamic testing procedures, and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex endocrine conditions.

Dr Shan Jiang is experienced in managing the following endocrine conditions:

• Type 1 diabetes (including pump therapy)

• Gestational diabetes and pre-gestational diabetes in pregnancy

• Thyroid pathology

• Pituitary pathology

In her down time, Dr Jiang enjoys engaging with nature through her travels, whether it is trekking in the Himalayas or scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. She will strive to assist you in managing your endocrine condition so that you can enjoy the things in life that matters to you. She practices via the mottos of respect and empowerment of the patient. She will work with you, your GP and other health professionals in a coordinated team to ensure that you receive the best care.

Dr Jiang is a fluent mandarin 中文 speaker.

Anny Kwok is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with special interests in the nutritional management of diabetes, weight management, gastroenterology, food allergy and intolerance and paediatric and maternal health. She is also a supporter of Health At Every Size (HAES).

She graduated with Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Canberra and Graduate Diploma of Diabetes Education from the University of Technology Sydney. She is also a diabetes educator, working towards credentialing with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association.

Anny works closely with members of your treating team to provide person-centred care to all clients.
